The Seven Deadly Sins of Edward Enninful

Directed by SHOWstudio’s Nick Knight, “The Seven Deadly Sins of Edward Enninful” celebrates 25 years in the fashion industry for the aforementioned British fashion stylist and director of W magazine. 

The short film is presented by Beats by Dre and features the likes of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn as they unpack the 7 deadly sins. Travis Scott rather brashly takes care of narration duties whilst tracks from A$AP Ferg, The Internet and Jamie XX compliment the rich visuals. 

It’s a pretty cool piece if you’re into visual effects as it pretty much plays with every conceivable element you can think of. There’s a heavy emphasis on the stacking and splicing of these visual queues to create 3 dimensional landscapes. These environments are then twisted, contorted and layered with punchy typography and complimentary colour palettes to bring a dynamic short together. Press play if you can spare the 10 minutes.
