Hiroshi Kondo : The Others

Came across this visual whilst doing my daily sweep of the internet on Vimeo staff picks. Tokyo based film maker Hiroshi Kondo rather beautifully captures the Shibuya crossing in this hypnotic visual. The piece uses a time slicing method that kicks in,  around the 50 second mark, syncing nicely with the audio, tracked by Notuv. I've attached a few stills below if you don't have the two minutes to spare to watch the clip. It inspired me to do my own little illustration from reference with some pens, pencil and pro markers. Cheers for reading!
